Good vegan option, but soo much plasticThis is one of many Shawarma (and sometimes falafel?) shops located on the East side of La Carolina park (Avenida de los Shyris)
They had a tasty (vegan) falafel sandwich for $4 wrapped in biodegradable paper.
They said they knew what “vegan” is, but then they tried to give me aji with eggs. I had to confirm if it has eggs, and they said that their aji (hot sauce) does have eggs in it.
…but minus 2 stars because they wrapped it all in plastic
Advice to management: just use paper, so it’s all biodegradable. There’s no need to wrap it in plastic.
