Review: Waipo

I came here a little while ago with a group of friends for dinner. There’s certainly plenty of choice for vegans on the dinner menu and all dishes are beautifully plated. I had some dumplings to start with, followed by the stir-fried vegan prawns with pak choi and wild abalone, and the fried banana with almonds, fruit, vegan vanilla ice cream, and syrup. The food tasted as great as it looked and I enjoyed the dinner. The restaurant is very big and it was busy, so service was a bit patchy at times. Overall, though, I highly recommend Waipo for an elevated dinner with good vegan choices.
