I had heard a lot of Georgian food, but never tried it, so I came here with friends yesterday. The place was super packed - luckily we had booked in advance. We’re all vegans and together with the waiter, we figured out which of the vegetarian dishes are also vegan and then basically ordered them all. Better vegan labeling on the menu would be super helpful.
All the dishes were very tasty, though I liked the bean stew (Lobio) the best. We also had the Aubergine Rullar, the Veg. Ojaxur, and the Khinkali. Service was swift and friendly. It’s a bit out of the way for me, but I wouldn’t mind coming here again.

Had lunch here with a friend the other week. Unlike similar place sin my hometown, this one has plenty of vegan options. There are several vegan broth options and lots of ingredients like different mushrooms, tofus, and noodles. You order via a tablet and then head for the buffet to pick your sauces, spices, and other condiments. The buffet options could do with better vegan labeling, but the staff are very friendly and happy to help. I enjoyed my food and wouldn’t hesitate to return here next time I’m in town.

Stopped by here for dinner the other week. Somewhat limited vegan choices, but there’s a vegan ramen and some sushi rolls, which can be ordered in a vegan version. I picked the latter, because I wasn’t super hungry. Nice plating and overall nice presentation and the rolls tasted good. They just didn’t really stand out - for the price, I would have expected more. I didn’t enjoy the edamame - usually a safe & enjoyable choice - because there was simply too much togarashi on them and it wasn’t spread evenly, but rather in spicy lumps between the beans.
The restaurant was fairly empty for dinner - I think it’s more of a lunch place and the lunch offers also looked good price-wise.

I came here a little while ago with a group of friends for dinner. There’s certainly plenty of choice for vegans on the dinner menu and all dishes are beautifully plated. I had some dumplings to start with, followed by the stir-fried vegan prawns with pak choi and wild abalone, and the fried banana with almonds, fruit, vegan vanilla ice cream, and syrup. The food tasted as great as it looked and I enjoyed the dinner. The restaurant is very big and it was busy, so service was a bit patchy at times. Overall, though, I highly recommend Waipo for an elevated dinner with good vegan choices.

This is a ridiculously fine place. I’m not even a fan of sweet breakfast dishes and yet, I could have eaten everything here several times over. I’m sure even the tables would taste great. I feel that it doesn’t matter what you order here, because everything is super tasty.

There’s a reason this place ranks so highly on HappyCow. Great pizza, friendly service, and a restaurant with a story & a mission. I had the Gorgolosa di Montagna with gorgonzola and porcini mushrooms. This used to be my favourite pizza topping, before turning vegan, but I never found a vegan version until coming here. This pizza is worth traveling to Milan for!

While sightseeing in Copenhagen, I had a burger-shaped hole in my stomach, so naturally I had to stop here to sample one of the vegan burgers. All patties house-made, don’t ya know. Sadly, the regular patty was already sold out, but Robin had put together a replacement, which, I’m sure, tasted just as fine. It’s a tiny joint with super tasty ice tea and a free Mortal Combat machine - gives you something to do while waiting for the food (not that it was a long wait). The Roots-n-Green Burger was super tasty as were the fries. Highly recommended for a centrally located burger stop in Copenhagen.

Great product to work with and tastes great. These are very versatile and work well in stews or casseroles, but also on their own on skewers or as a snack. Would totally buy these again.

The Vegan Breakfast
I had dinner in the city centre branch of the StäV a few days ago and it was okay. Then I found it at the airport when I was looking for breakfast. They have a vegan breakfast that’s super tasty, freshly made, and, for an airport anyway, keenly priced. I liked it a lot. Probably one of the best vegan airport breakfasts I had so far.
They also have other clearly labeled vegan dishes.

The Fully Vegan Breakfast
If you’re in Stockholm and craving a good old fry up, Greasy Spoon’s version hits the spot and contains all the necessities: The right baked beans, a good sausage, nice tofu scramble, fresh mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, and a few slices of good bread. They even have brown sauce, the only correct condiment for a good fry-up, though they call it by its poncy name, HP sauce.
The place is laid back enough, service is good, and the toilets are clean. What else do you want? Gets busy, so use the digital wait-list function on their website.
